Project Survey

Thank-you for taking part in this survey.

Any data you provide, will be kept anonymous and used soley for the purpose of assisting in my final-year project.

This survey will present you with a few short sound clips.  You are asked to play these sound clips, and then rate your perception of the emotion of the sound clip, by clicking on a place in a plot, like the one shown below.  The plot below also gives some examples of my perception of where some emotional states may be positioned, to help you understand how to use the plot:-

Furious/Enraged

You have just been fired from your job, and on the way home, some idiot pulled out infront of you, and caused you to crash your car!

Estatic/Orgasmic

It's Christmas day, you've just unwrapped the most amazing present ever! You've already had several glasses of Champagne and a few cups of coffee with loads of sugar! You're practically bouncing over the ceeling!

Tired/Bored

You're half-way through the most boring 3-hour lecture on 'Intergration By Parts'. Your day started at 6am, it's now 4pm and you barely slept the night before.

Relaxed/Restful

You've just had the most wonderful massage. Your mind is free from worry and stress. You're smiling as you let yourself drift into a relaxing sleep.
